Any car you buy is going to have some problems. You can't get away from it. But the S2000 has been pretty trouble free so far, and there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the car, as long as you don't double the torque and blow the rear end out.

Plus you need to know how to drive it. Lot's of people don't.

If you want my opinion, the main problems with this car are:

1) Gearing is too tall. This thing should come standard with 4.44 gears.

2) Driver's seat is too tall. Need to do the seat mod so I can see properly. Damn sunvisor is totally useless in this car.

That's about it. Stereo sucks, but that's easily fixed.
