Need a Mini for a day
I need to convince my wife to dump her aging and expensive to maintain 323i before it gets shipped up here from San Diego. I need someone to loan me their mini for a day to demonstrate how her existing car isn't all that. In exchange I can offer my E350 cargo van which is perfect if you need to move a lot of crap around. If you've got stuff you need moved to/from storage or need to buy that new fridge let me know so I can convince her to step up.

Just tell her how we've been trying to sell our 323i for about 3 months now, and have come down about 5 grand on the price and STILL haven't sold.
I think you've got the right idea trying to get her into a Mini vs shipping the Beamer up.

If you want to come up you can take her on the Salamander in mine.
Mine has a lot of shit on it she won't see that makes it better too heh
Even stock the car is fun like a retard with tinfoil, but its so easy and cheap to make better quickly. Also, if you need one for a good deal Ryan (sales minion) frequents the forum, he's bucking for sales goon of the year at MINI and will whore out his sister to make the sale.

as well, I have a tonne on the go, but if you want to wait till after the new year, you can just swing by my office and pick up mine.
Mine comes with caveats though, broken windshield, noisy clutch and a freakin bum tire, so it's not exactly the best sales tool at the moment.

Mini's a fantasic car I would recommmend it to anyone.
My gf's is an automatic cooper, but I think its' awesome, especially around the city.
I find getting some nicer interior trim packages also makes all the difference.

Do you think its big enough to haul baby and related gear around? Julianne is getting concerned about fitting her Altima in our narrow garage.
James, would you say the Auto Cooper S has enough pep? We drove the basic convertible auto and it was dismal.

james' not S...just cooper auto.
i was in nilesh's cooper S on saturday and it was still dismal....but you should ask him directly.
he has JCW pulley and the auto still sucks all the power away.
the cooper has to have the worst implementation of an auto tranny on the planet.
