Need a Mini for a day

She's really attached to it and I can't figure out why. Her attachment is my financial hardship, it needs new tires, new brakes, has some damage on one of the doors, the power windows don't work very well. All and all I've got $5K is repairs to do to it and while I refuse to make them I know that in the end I'm going to have to.

Ron, it would be pushing it size wise, I have a baby seat in the back, and enough room for a stroller and stuff, but the saving grace is my niece is old enough to climb in herself, if I had to lean in, place her there and buckle her up, I'd be bitchin the whole time.

I drive the Cooper (auto) almost exclusively on the weekends....I love it.
I don't find it underpowered actually....its not a rocket, but I think we're a little spoiled when it comes to power generally. Especially for the city, I think its totally fine. On the highway, it takes a little more intelligent driving, but its great.
I think its the perfect city car.

Nilesh needs to change the software on it too, you can do a lot with MTH to make it compensate for the auto.
I have to say I love driving the little bugger too, you can go pretty balls out easily and feel quite comfortable while doing it. And its a damn laugh on the track.

Do you think its big enough to haul baby and related gear around? Julianne is getting concerned about fitting her Altima in our narrow garage.

except i don't like the fit at all.
What's on the table to compare right now is the Element SC and the mazda 5. I like the fun factor of the mini too.... too bad the 4door mini is just a pipe dream.
