New project....CBR rebuild
Im picking up a 2002 CBR600F4i (14000km) off a family member for dirt cheap. It was recently down bad hence the good price. My plan is to bring it back to OEM like new (one of the benifits of workin at the big "H", gettin parts at cost)...im waiting for the bike shop to confirm the frame is square and the engine is ok.
It should be a fun project. I think i can get it all done in a month.
It needs all of the following: lower fairings and all other panels+tank repainted,
Right handlebbar, brake handle/master cyl, throttle handle,
Speedo cluster, brake pedal, throttle cables, starter button,
brake lines, mirrors, windscreen, headlight bracket, tires, etc etc....
Now its Red w/black wing. Im going to convert it to pearl white/red wing. I actually saw this bike Sunday as it is for sale. I really like the color scheme. When its all done I think i can keep the total cost below $4500....not bad considering 01-03 F4is go for $6-8g's
If anyone knows anybody with an F4i and has extra parts sittin around, let me know

Very nice Ian, looks like fun.
I don't have any parts, but I've got a nice HRC decal for you straight from the Tochigi R&D lobby shop - would look great on your helmet!
