If I had to pay that much, I think I'd rather drive without.. or with a fake sticker. That's hwy robbery.

what's another $1700/yr??

even for 3 years.

you'll lose way more from the sale of the car....
I think the car would depreciate more than $1700/yr, so if he sells it now he will save money on insurance and the car depreciation....

Sorry to hear about this Rahul....I was hoping to see you at one of the corvette autoxs in the Z....

dennis, I switched insurance company this March, and I am paying 2/3 as much as I did. My record isnt great at all---2 speeding (15km over), 1 fail to have insurance card (I did have valid insurance), and 1 accident 3 years ago (not at fault, but the car was totalled, I am not sure if this one actually effects my rate)

how many years does it take to lose all these tickets? 3? 4 or even longer?

Jarek: whoops, forgot about pcinsurance.ca ... that's a good one too.

Rich: ouch, that's pretty lengthy, glad you went down fast though going from $6.5g to 2/3's of that. tickets are 3 yr. from date of conviction and accidents are 6 yr. (i still got 1 friggin' year to go!)

Jay: Too bad the Jeep is only worth $9 / month!

triniexr: that's a damn good deal, but then again if you live in Pickering, I'm not surprised, living anywhere in the GTA would have major increase in premiums.
