Me either! Bought mine from Texas in 09. Not sure what a washed title even means, get a carfax, try and buy from a legitimate dealer, do your end of paperwork ahead of time and there should be no problems. Nice thing is, you can drive it across and sell it back to them, as long as you have original import paperwork, with no hassle to buyer. Oh yah, you get paid in American dollars, which is why it doesn't make sense to buy now. Back in the day, we would make a trek from T.O. to California every couple of years to buy donor cars from scrap yards for so called American Muscle cars we were restoring. I guess some people are ok with rust I guess.

It's been a little over a year without my S and I'm slowly itching for another manual car. I still absolutely love my lifted Ram for all these "overland" adventures and bombing through our local sand pit, but I miss banging gears!

Thing is I really, really want a C6 base / Z06.

Hey, don't forget about the spring dragon trip...if you've been sitting on the fence, book off work and join us. Dave is taking a group down a little earlier in the week, I'm heading down from Sarnia on Wednesday, hitting Rocky Top and devil's triangle on the way. The event takes place mother's day weekend.

still 3 months to go!

tempting, yes...but being already booked to early June means rescheduling and inconveniencing people.
