I really didn't like the front end of the new Civic, but having watched a few of the Nurburgring spy videos of the new CTR, I'm surprised to say I quite like the front clip on the new CTR!

Same after seeing spy shots of the new CTR I'll be putting my order in day 1.

Thought about STi or Golf R but I think this is the way to go if you can wait it out.

I wonder if the GR Corolla will come north.... Different type of beast though (rally hothatch vs track hothatch)

I'm back in the Honda game. I decided that I'm not likely to jump back into an S2000 for practicality reasons, but I put a deposit down on a 2022 Honda Civic Si in Blazing Orange Pearl. It almost looks like Imola Orange from the S2000. It's sitting in the showroom as we speak and has not been test-driven by anyone, so not long of a wait to get it. I test drove an Si last week and really enjoyed the experience, pretty good car overall when you consider the sum of its parts. I was seriously considering a BRZ but my Subaru dealer estimated a delivery date of July 2022 , too long to wait and I have a trade as part of the deal. Dealers are clamoring for trades and trade-in values are pretty high, so it was an easy decision for the Honda Civic Si.

That's awesome, congrats!
I know the 11th gens received a lot of backlash when first revealed, but I think they're going to have a huge potential in the aftermarket.
Pretty impressive what a simple Hondata tune can do to these factory turbo hondas.

Yeah when I first seen the Civic internet pics I thought it was a move in the wrong direction. Then I thought the performance numbers were a letdown, and the adaptive dampers were not carried over. Then I seen some in person and thought the design was quite nice and much better than what I saw in pics. After test-driving one I really enjoyed it , good overall car , motor is strong enough, handling is really good, lots of room and comfy, nice interior. The potential with Hondata is a pretty good value and easy upgrade if someone wants more power. Seeing the car in person and driving it really changed my mind.

Check out the factory cat exhaust. I saw them last week at work and was like wth...
Kinda neat it does a loop after the muffler.

I love my 8th gen, but the new Si is a real winner. Looks great, manual shift, and the colour you chose is so right.
Of course, I can't leave well enough alone and would do Hondata Flashpro, bigger rear sway bar, and 200 UTQG summer tires.
well done, sir!
