Possible Trade
An opportunity just came up for me and I may be able to trade my winter truck for a dodge neon srt4. Just want to hear some of your guys opinions, I know JFUSION had a neon srt4 once upon a time. The car just had the clutch replaced and has 185k on it.

I still love them, bulletproof motor if treated right. Check the transmission and make sure it shifts smoothly, they can easly hold 500 whp but some of them can be a bit crude shifting. Avoid the first year models as the later ones came with the Quaife LSD, I wouldn't want one without the Quaife. They are a very crude, low tech vehicle with very sparse interior, but great fun IMO. Some of the best seats still to be found to this day. They suffer a bit with some of the same woes as AP1 S2K's where rear toe changes under suspension compression, but I never had an issue with that even with a lowered SRT4. I never had a single defect with my vehicle.

I had one up until last summer. Sold it with 260k on it and still running strong. Very solid car and super fun to drive. Took it to a couple track days and toyed with s2000s. The s2000 would catch me a bit in the turns but I would leave him everytime on the straights. Mine had a Mopar stage 2 ecu and injectors though.
You'll just have to deal with everyone calling it a neon though...

I had the Mopar stage one upgrade, cheap easy upgrade plus you get better fuel economy. If you get one avoid the 2003's, so 2004+. The ACR models were cool. It is a neon, but who cares when you hit the gas pedal. At Gingerman Raceway I was swallowing fully modded RSX's by the handfuls in my stock SRT4, most import/Honda owners just don't get these cars.

mine was much cheaper to insure than a Honda Civic, likely due to the Neon thing.

I just found out its an R/T, not the SRT which is a bummer. Its still a possibility for me though, cause a car that is better on fuel would be great. My dad works with the guy, I actually found the car on kijiji here http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-c...QAdIdZ246437508
