I modified my rails to high lift. Cost $0. Just a couple hours of time.

It adds up real quick lol. All I have left to pay for is the floor epoxy $2500 and the 2 post hoist $5000.

Nice!
Apparently not an option for mine. If you look in the picture the spring system is twice the size and obviously I would have to replace the openers with ones that mount beside. Maybe someday down the road if it really bugs me.

And picked up something similar (RRW RR2s) for my Tacoma:

Where did you get the wheels from for the Taco? Im looking for a similar set for mine. Also any ideas where I can order suspension locally? Im not familiar with 4x4 shops in the GTA but want to do a lift / level (nothing crazy).

Out of curiosity... why a 2 post and not a drive up 4 post?

Lol I'm glad to see another 3rd gen Taco owner - I think I bought an SRS module from you too lol.

I bought the wheels from Race Relations Wheels, here: https://www.relationsracewheels.com/...-tacoma-tundra . They're the RR2's in 17x8.5 +0. As much as I wanted real Volks, I really couldn't justify it for a truck haha. Lots of guys on TacomaWorld offroad with them with no complaints. I bought them back on Black Friday and had them shipped to my place in Boston, finally had a chance to drag them up and got WheelsCo to mount a set of Hankook Dynapro ATMs in 265/70r17. No lift or anything (yet).

Not too sure on where to order lift stuff from locally, I've heard these guys are the cheapest in Canada for Bilsteins: Essex Distributors - Bilstein Car Shocks - Car Suspension & Shock Absorbers

I was planning on ordering set of 5100 series shocks & Firestone Ride Rite bags for the rear... probably will wait until the fall though.

Out of curiosity... why a 2 post and not a drive up 4 post?
I debated back and forth and ultimately I don't plan to store anything on it. And in my opinion it's a pain to work on suspension and what not because you have to lean over the ramp. Also you need to have a rack jack to lift the car when on the ramps.
Dropping an engine on a 4 post is a nightmare compared to a 2 post. Everything I own it's easier to drop the subframe and engine out the bottom. Well not sure about the S but hopefully I won't have to take the engine out.
The fact that a 4 post does not need to be anchored was a nice feature but ultimately the pros of the 2 post made me choose that route.
My gas fitter ended up in the hospital for a couple weeks so I'm hoping to have the heater running early next week and things can start to progress again.

Looks good Jaymz
Who did your epoxy? I am ready to do mine in the spring.
My ceiling height is only 9ft so I'm probably going to have to settle for a quick jack or small scissor lift. :/
