'Bucktooth' plate is the way to go on an AP2 front bumper. Looks way better! Dealer sells plugs, I think that's where I got mine

I ordered the bumper plugs from torontohonda. They came in next day.

I'm waiting on a tow hook mount, gonna see how I like it but I think I may end up mounting the same as yours.

Is there any way to get to the license plate nuts without removing the whole bumper?

They should be mounted to the cover as an assembly unless they broke loose. Otherwise you can fish for each piece.

Sorry I'm referring to the nut behind the bumper that holds the cover to the car. One seems to have popped off. The guy I bought the car from had it zip tied. The caps go into that nut so it's either get a nut back there or silicone the cap on or something.

One of mine was loose so I injected some glue to mount it more firmly then once cured I installed the cap. If your plate mounting nut assembly has fallen inwards you may have to remove the bumper cover to reattach it. Or like you said, glue the cap in place.

Thanks. Ya, I think I'll silicone it in for now until I have a better reason to remove the bumper cover.

Installed the OEM AP2 lip last night. Had to jack up the car to fit my fat fingers behind the bumper to hold the flange nuts but that was literally the most difficult thing to do. Fits like a glove as OEM should. Looking at it up close under the garage lights I can see a bit of colour difference. Have to see how much it stands out under natural light.
