The dash will go back in after it and everything behind it is stripped (heater core, evap unit, SRS controller, ducting, etc. It need to come out for the cage to go in and them once that's done it will be blanked out and replaced. I'll keep the stock gauge cluster for next year as budget doesn't allow for a new one this time around.
I'm publishing it on .mac because it takes literally 3 minutes to take the photos off my CF card and put them on a page and publish it. I'll take lots of pics along the way because it is a sort of interesting adventure. iWeb rocks!
Marco it's worth considering. Getting the car to race ready is going to cost about $6K including the cage, hardtop and the driver safety stuff another 6. It's mostly one-time or long-time expenses. Actually racing is another story but I have another budget for that.
I'll be racing in the CASC-OR Touring GT Series in the Super Touring class next year. The cage is being built by Ronnie O'Brien in mid-January to meet SCCA and CASC specs (1.75" tubing) so the car will pass tech for both CASC TGT and SCCA IT events even though I'll only be doing events in Canada for the next couple of years.
