S2Ki.com / Toronto - What to do over the winters?
Ice cream meet?
Come over and help shovel snow?
Dinner / drinks?
Karaoke????
Group trip to Cuba?
Group trip to Hong Kong?
Group trip to Pacific Mall?
Christmas dinner?
What?
We can't let the group go inactive due to a little snow!

So as a beginning for '04 I will take on the following activity.
Upstate Does Toronto Auto Show
The activity will be somewhere close to the 3rd weekend in February.
There will be several nights of drinking, eating dinner with friends and fun subway rides as well as the obvious trip through the auto show.
All the activities will take place in Downtown Toronto.
Central location will be my hotel, The Bond Place.
I have been coming up to this show to shake loose my cabin fever for years, and always look forward to it.
Look for details as we get closer.
I will just need a few volunteers to help me find the good restaurants ahead of time.

Just go driving around in the RSXTypeS like any other day, and if it snows really really really bad then I will drive around in the Dakota, just like any other day. But if you want to come and shovel my driveway.........blow your horn first so I know someone's at the gate.
Colleen and I will be going to the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS to those who know what it's really called) in January, and the Detroit Boat Show in February.
NAIAS Schedule:
PRESS DAYS: 1/4-6
INDUSTRY DAYS: 1/7-8
CHARITY PREVIEW: 1/9
PUBLIC DAYS: 1/10-19
Detroit Boat Show
February 7 - 15, 2004 at Cobo Center.

Arthur, for all members like myself who drive their cars in the winter. I am planning on doing what the Prairie Redliners do in the winter by having Winter Drag Races in an abandoned parking lot.
Why ? So we can learn where "the limit of grip" is and compare snow tires.
When - sometime in December

yes.. I simply can't justify not driving it on those cold and dry days ? why not ? there's only a little bit of snow and salt build up from the side streets, but that's it.. no biggie.. they way they manufacture the underbody nowadays, (according to xviper) we are FINEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. on snow tires..
