Does anyone know... Is Gentry the only dealership in Ontario that I can get an Elise? I called them and they don't do financing only leasing through another dealership. The deal would be $835/month for 4 years and then $17800 buy out at the end. This is with trading in my 05 S with $29000 owing.

Gentry is the only one in Ontario

John Scotti's in Montreal

Try 'em both.. s2kRob and DoGMan will most likely pull theirs from the U.S.

and from your numbers, that's certainly NOT a deal, but you only LIVE ONCE..

I don't mind getting one from the US, I almost bought my S from NJ (with hind sight I wish I did). According to the RIV the Elise can not be imported into Canada, this may not have been updated for 2006.

I would be interested in any info, US dealers, US pricing etc. Like the S the Elise is a lot cheaper in the US, even after paying the 6.1% duty.

Vince isnt getting an Elise.

Rob is waiting for the CDN dollar to become worth $1.50US so that Elise prices in the US get even better.

He is on the list for the first of the 2011 cars I hear.

you cant bring a 2005 up from the US, but I believe you can a 2006. May be hard to find a dealer to allow you to do it tho.

I have spoken to people who have and they said its not a big deal. If the car is admissible then you just have to do all the paper work, notify the US border 24hr in advance and then pay CAN border taxes and duty and your over. All the info is on www.riv.ca

Buying new on the other hand is an issue, the dealer is unable to register the car so they might have some problems working that out, but from the CAN side your golden according to the info I got from ON Licensing.

ps. I think DogMan is special, I don't know why, I just do.

Sorry to disappoint you Dave, but Rob is planning to sell his never coming Volk rims to make deposits for the first of the 2016 Elises.

Dogman is special.

We had another word for special, back in the days when nip, coolie and whop were acceptable.

Ahhh, those were the days.
