Safety & E-test
Hey guys im selling a car and need to get it saftied and e-tested and was just wondering if you guys might have any suggestions or advice on things that should be checked or added? Thanks!
it helps to know the car, but obviously for etest give it a nice highway run and make sure its tuned up and up to operating temp for the test. If there are any doubs if it will pass change the oil and spark plugs,etc. for the safety, make sure the window is free of defects otherwise it may giev you trouble, enough tread on the tires, brake life, no torn cv boots, no rust holes,etc.

Oh! Cool yea there are no problems with the windshield.
Its silver and barely any rust (just minor surface rusting at the rear wheel wells...typical) but no rotting and i already cleaned up the spots with a wire brush and anti-rust paint.

There is extremely minimal rusting, the only thing i like mentioning is the wheel wells since Honda's are notorious for them. For a 98 the lack of rusting is exceptional tho.
No accidents, the only damage done to the vehicle was a minor scuff that the guy had against a parking pole. I already sanded and painted the area, plus the bumper is plastic so not like it could rust or get worse haha.
"etc"...i really dont know what other info you would be looking for? The rest of the body is in great shape, it runs great (perfect idle, no noises). Brakes work fine on all 4 corners, suspension is solid, all power options work (power windows, power sunroof, cruise control, A/C) oh and its got leather interior.
Its not a GSR, but as a result hasnt been abused...and its automatic. Basically your ideal DD or beater i suppose.
