Hello all, any suggestions on which brand and model for our S2K?

Anyone has experienced with CompuStar in Toronto area?

Please share your opinions and experience, I am considering one for mine.

Thanks!

It's a good idea in my opinion. Unless you know the car is in a safe spot every time you leave it's sight, I'd put one in. 50K+ for the car, you should wanna protect your investment for a few hundred bucks extra.

I put in an Alpine unit (dual zone) and got it done at Totally Wired on Queen Street. One of the better prices in town and the service was top notch. cost was about 4 bills. It is a small shop but they take care of your car. Other larger shops are like an assembly line and are just working to get it out on time. The work was very clean and I highly recommend the place. Tell them Sunny told you to give them a shout.

I know it is but don't tell me you wouldn't be massively PI$$ED if someone ripped it off. I'm sure you've put a lot of sweat and blood into your baby. And I live downtown and park it in a garage and the area can be kinda sketchy. Peace of mind, it helps me sleep better.

yeah.. it's insured... but if you have to go thru those ass "o" s in the insurance company.... it will take forever to get your parts/money back.

plus... there is a deductible... and anything that's not attached to your car goes to your house insurance.. that's another deductible...

Woooo woooo wooo isn't going to stop a theif, get a flashing led that's good enough. The car has an immobilizer that's the best protectant really. If they want your cars they'll take it.
