Default softtop elastic fix from Modifry

hi all, i was wondering if anyone has purchased this and had it done to their car. does it work well? last a while? easy to DIY? would love any comments from the people who done this.

It does exactly as it states. Very easy install. Had my set for 7years and still worked fine.

I just bought velcro elastic straps from dollarama. If it wears out, just adjust the velcro tighter or get a new set for a buck or two.

gets my full recommendation. with these straps, i was able to install my tonneau cover easily. worth every penny.

Yeah, the Modifry fix works just fine.

I bought some wide elastic from a fabric store for $1.50.

The rivets are easy to drill out, they are aluminum.

Just used new rivets and bingo.

Job done for $2.

Just ordered a set on Tuesday. Also ordered some black hole top patches for the inside where it wears from the cross bar.
