Why is the new M5 that appealing to you guys?
Im trying to understand...to me it is the opposit of what an S is...you guys keeping the S if you get one?
Id be inclined to get that new Maserati instead if you are looking for a GT

Why buy a Maserati?
Nice cars, but you'll long for a real Ferrari.
M5 will take care of my wants and needs, fun when I want, comfortable when I want and 4 doors.
Also, you should check out the shop rate at Maserati? Geezus heh. You'd swear it was a Ferrari

I'm not swapping the S2000 for the M5. The S2000 is slowly but surely becoming more weekend and track oriented, and I'm going to at some point need a daily driver. Sitting in the 5 series really was VERY cool. Everything is driver oriented, the controls fall perfectly to hand, the dash is awesome, it just feels like a driver's car should feel. Then, I look behind me and I see a useable back seat and a huge-ass trunk. What's not to like about that? Instead of driving a shitter when I need space, I can whip 4 people around in 500+hp style.
That's ing cool.
Some of my friends now have 3 series BMW's and AMG C classes and what not. And, well, I've got to take it to the next level with the biggest, baddest most technologically advanced BMW sedan ever to rule the streets.
And this is just the beginning. Only a thoroughbred super-sports car like a Porsche GT3 or Ferrari 360 CS will be replacing the S2000. But by that time there will be even more awesome supercars than those two.
So in short, I can hardly wait to own this bad bitch.

That makes sense. For me, if I were to get a new car, it would replace the S (only have a double car garage), and I just couldnt fathom jamming myself into a heavy high HP luxury sport sedan..
But I can see it as a daily driver if you'd like to keep the S as a weekend toy.
Just be prepared for EVERYONE driving M5s alongside you. Thats the main reason I would take a look at Maserati's instead.

Oh yeah everyone drives M5's, dude its not like a Moore's suit.
If Maserati doesn't get the sales up, it'll be gone again too. So you may wanna get yours now.
