Wednesday tentative plans
here's the new map with all the stops

Point A) Mike will meet me downtown and we'll leave at ~7.30am
Point B) Meet Dom/Vince here at Timmies at ~8.15am
Point C) Meet Nick/Joe at the rest stop at ~9.45am
Point D) Meet Dave at Timmies at ~10.15am
Point E) Meet Lori/Shelli at Mcdonalds ~1.15pm
Point F) Arrive at Holiday Inn Express in Newport, KY around 6.00pm (including a few stops along the way)
Point G) If we get caught in traffic on the way down or make too many stops along the way, we can skip checking into the Holiday Inn and go straight to the restaurant (It's a restaurant called the Original Montgomery Inn, head over to their website http://www.montgomeryinn.com/ and click "join the inn" crowd for a $10 off $50 coupon). Alsomake sure you've signed up for dinner+caravan in the Cincy Caravan thread

Thursday
The Holiday Inn is a 3min drive to the Hooters where the Cincy Caravan is meeting, as per the organizers: "Get here early !!!!" and "Will be leaving around 9:30...to 10:00AM..."

I don't know if everyone else wanted to do this, but it sounds like a blast so I'm going to.. There's a group of the Cincy Caravan that will be doing dinner in Gatlinburg, and then driving The Dragon at night on the way to Fontana Village, Heres the thread with more information and signup

Here's the official thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=837339&st=0

It's a 14 hour drive from Toronto: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&source=s_d&...324&ie=UTF8&z=5

I've always wanted to do this, but I would hate to put all that mileage on my S2K just to get down there... I gotta find a way to trailer it lol

I missed out on it last year and would love to go this year. Does anyone know if the fall S2000 run down there is still going on?

Why not drive down yourself? Once you get there as a passenger you'll kick yourself for not driving down.

I gotta find a way to reduce my back pain when sitting in my S2000, after 2 hours it starts hurting me, 14 hours would be really tough. It seems I need more recline in the seat to ease the pain.

On a side note I want to make a trip to Watkins Glen in 2011 and try to get some laps at the track. I think that is about 5 hours each way from London, give or take. Watkins Glen and WTD would be my two fav choices in 2011.
