Mine is $1615 a year, but I also only insure it during the time I drive. I am accident and ticket free, multicar discount, married, home owner, driver training etc... Rob, I don't think you will get a better rate, difference is from Toronto to Creemore.

S2000_rider - $12,500 A YEAR !!!! Man, you could get another car for every claim or every year.

Okay, seeing yours Matrix makes me feel better. I think you're right that this is the lowest we will see in Toronto.

I was doing 100 in a 50 and got caught by radar.. he wouldn't drop it the one magic Kilometer.

Don't get me wrong, it wasnt a school zone just a industrial road alongside the 400.

So I went to court, took about a year and a half all told, actually thought they forgot for a while..had it reduced to 40 over, 5 points and 875 fine..

Oddly enough, my insuarance company dropped the policy on my car..I was really pissed, so I canceled everything, and ran off to find new insuarance before the ticket posted..Too late.

I noticed as I'm filling in paper work that it says clearly 50+ KM/H

the chick said no prob, you get one freebie

and I wound up saving about 1200 year for my 3 cars, bike, and house..So I was very happy how it all turned out..seems the ticket actually saved me money in the long run

Man are you guys all that old?! Talk about cheap insurance rates for a 2 door sports car... Is it because you only insure it for half a year? I pay $1450 a year for my Prelude with a pristine record.. We had a guy in our club that was paying $14,500 a year.. It's been a year with no tickets so daddy bought him a Z06 Talk about spoiled..

Actually you do get a rate difference if you are located in a rural area.

I also have a perfect record, no tickets for points etc, no accidents. I have the car insured at all times.

Shell gets a break because she's a chick living in Regina, she can see cars coming in another province so she never has to worry about head on's

wtf??? all of you are paying so low premiums on a much more expensive car!!!!

what am i doing wrong here?! i'm 23, i'm a primary driver on a 4 DOOR civic and i have to pay $3300 a year!!! (last year it was $2700 / yr.)

i live in North York, so I guess its a high premium area... i have 0 tickets, and 1 at fault accident 3.5 yr. ago .... (me vs. cement barrier + hydro pole... no ticket was issued)

can't wait til I turn 25 and for the accident to be wiped off my record ...

insurance is such b.s. ...
