I have a hard time buying a car expecting to make money out of it. I buy a car expecting to drive the HECK out of it.
That's exactly what I've done for both vehicles that I currently own. My g/f is always wondering why I just hop on and off the 401 and run back and forth between Scarborough to Mississauga on a whim - I just don't care - the drive is all I care aboot.
Especially if you have a S2000, its made for your pleasure.

There are some problems here though. For guys like me, we prefer no body mods and original paint. Then there is the price. It's pretty common knowledge that you don't usually get your money back with mods unless of course you find a buyer who is willing to pay for it. For $40,000 you could build your own any way you liked instead. It's going to be a tough sell at that price.
If I was gong to buy a modified S2000, I would rather start fresh with a decent shape AP1 ($16,000) thrown on some Bilstien PSS ($1300) Maybe a supercharger kit ($5000) some New wheels and tires ($3000) and a big brake kit ($1200) and I'd still only be at $26,500...

I wouldn't sell for anything less than $30,000 - nope haha
It is insanely mint. But I finally decided it's not for sale unless I lose my job and house and wife and kid
