mine works great, although its garaged (unheated)
The diff feels really stiff on the ultra cold mornings, like trying to drive thru molasses. (sp?) The thing stops on a dime without touching the brakes!
Other than that, starts fine, warms up quick (engine and cabin) and is a blast to drive!

The only weird thing I had was yesterday when I went for a late lunch and parked it outside for 1.5 hr. .. when I started it up again, there was a deep rumble and strong vibration coming from the exhaust.
Felt like I put in an aftermarket fart pipe or had a hole in my exhaust or something. This persisted til the evening then either a) i didn't notice it any more or b) it went away (probably snow clogged on the undercarriage somewhere and it melted) ....

At the beginning of the first 3 winters I had this car, just when the temps started to decline to near freezing, the car would stall on the first cold start of the day. I'd start it and it would run high idle for about 1 second, then stall. One the second try, it would start up and act as usual. All subsequent starts in the same day were normal. This would persist for 3-4 days, then it "learned" and never did it again till the following year. Finally, this winter, it did NOT do this. It took the ECU three years of winter onset to "learn" how to start itself when the temps got cold. Also, if you have a block heater, use it anytime the temps get down to colder than about -10*C if the car is left outside. It will start like normal, whereas if it is not plugged in, it will need a second or two more of cranking. When plugged in, it will idle smoother immediately and be already nearly warmed up and ready to go within 1/2 a minute.
ps. If you are talking about your yellow car that you posted about in that other thread, due to the circumstances behind the car's history, whatever you see posted here may have very little relevance to your current situation.

no s2000 comes with a standard block heater.
How much X ?
And I assume they come specific nowadays pre '04 ?
I've never used one as my car is always parked in the garage.
Contact a Honda dealership and they should be able to tell you ? Or maybe the Prairie Redliners have a group buy ?
