Just around the corner from the above pic from my hotel room window.

It was a discusting dump. Just the other side of the hotel was 10x better.

well my uncle got a very successful business there. He's well off. I'm sure I won't be found in those kinda parts of LA. He asked me to work for him, so I'm considering it, but I would hate to leave my family and gf here

but yeah those pics are pretty brutal

I went to the same resort in May! Awesome place to go and I had a great time. Wish I can get away from here sometime soon again.

Heard a lot of things were wrecked during the hurricane, did they fix them already when you were there?
Yeah, the resort was fixed. Could still see the effects of the hurricane on the trees but the whole place was immaculate. They must've been working round the clock.

I don't think any Island you will be dissapointed with. Oahu is where the most action is. It all depends on what you want to do? relax? explore? tour? sporting activities? shop? nightlife? Oahu has Waikiki, the North Shore where surfing is neat to watch in winter. Hanauma Bay Sandy Bay and Sea Life Park. Oahu also has bountiful shopping in Waikiki and Ala Moana. Maui would be second with resorts and beaches. The Kanapalli region has been growing. The big Island has some of the best golf courses and also Hawaii National Volcanoes Park. Kauai is the smallest but the Princeville Resort is supposed to be excellent. It is where the Grand Slam of Golf was a week ago. Most of all the islands also have Dole and other Pineapple plantations. You can go whale watching or for a helicopter tour. It all depends on what your scene is?

^ Sounds kinda boring. Sun - Sea - Surf - Sightseeing - Shopping.

Give me cold bleak damp snowy shitty weather anytime.
