Someone please tell me this is not or will not soon be the case on our roads, where cops (who 99% of the time know NOTHING of mods/cars) will have the right to pull any car they want !?
You have got to be f'in kidding me....so much for being a car enthusiast anymore. hm funny they prob will wanna crush some guys car for an intake or painted brake calipers or some crap like that....pretty messed up. z0mg its a killing machine!!!11

The problem is the open interpretation to "street racing" - and this interpretation is dependent upon a power tripping cop that has the final word.
Two people may happen to be going above the speed limit by 5 km/h side by side (w/ no intent to street race) and gets nabbed by a cop at a speed trap who wants to make a name for himself (to the media) will get the cars towed.
So what happens then? Even if you take it to court after (and spending $$$ on legal fees) to prove the cop in the wrong, your pride and joy is already a paper weight. Will the city / province pay you for a new car? Doubtful.
I have no problems with dishing out fines / penalties for stupidness on the road, but at least do something that makes sense.

This guy is just trying to get MEDIA attention....what ever man! Speed is speed....why not arrest Ferrari drivers? Cause the poor begger can't.....Like Porsche driver's don't speed....
