FS: My 2004 S2000, 82,000KM, Comptech
SOLD.
I'm sure I'll regret the decision, but I just don't drive it enough anymore so I'd like to see it go to someone who will use it.
2004 Honda S2000 (AP2 2.2L)
Black with Black/Red interior
82,000km
$23,000
I'm a 32 year old mature driver, 2nd owner, purchased in 2010. The car has been serviced at all recommended intervals.
- Amsoil synthetic in the engine, transmission, and diff
- New coolant, brake, and clutch fluid
- New Dunlop Direzza tires
- Paint detailed and protected with Zaino
- I always used 91 octane fuel
- NGK iridium plugs changed yearly (BKR8EIX)
- Air filter cleaned yearly
- Stoptech rotors and pads
- Honda front spoiler
- Honda rear decklid spoiler
- Kenwood stereo
- Viper alarm with remote
The only real modification is the Comptech supercharger with air/water aftercooler, the kit is original and unmodified, it uses a Paxton Novi 1000 centrifugal blower running the stock 6psi pulley (5.5psi with aftercooler). It uses the original rising rate FPR for fuel management, I would have replaced this had I gone beyond the stock boost levels but I never decided to, it's fast enough. On the Neetronics dyno it made 309rwhp (~355hp crank), that is a 100hp improvement over a stock AP2. It was tuned a little on the rich side to keep it safe, and I never had a problem it is incredibly reliable. Here is a link for more details:

Stored every winter of it's life except for one three month period where I drove it occasionally. There was one insurance claim against the car, I was cutoff and luckily avoided the other car, but unfortunately I hit a curb. The front passenger side wheel, lower control arm, shock and fender were damaged. They were replaced with factory parts, no other damage, the frame was untouched and the alignment is perfect. It wasn't a big deal, I'm just being honest.
You really need to see this car in person to appreciate the condition it's in.

I have UVIP, safety and e-test in hand. I also just had Honda run a compression test and they recorded perfect numbers (I will have the actual readings tomorrow).

I'm located in Burlington.
No test drives unless I know you're very serious about buying, this is a fast car and it could get an inexperienced driver in trouble especially if the roads are wet.

Thanks. I don't think it's worth the trouble to part it out, it's such a great everyday package as is and I don't think I'll have trouble finding a buyer who likes the whole package. To be honest, if I had an S2000 that was not supercharged already, then I would personally buy a different model, either a 1200SL or Rotrex. However, for someone buying my car it's a fantastic (basically free) base, because it can easily be upgraded in stages, or just leave it alone as a daily driver.
