I thought we figured that the v1 and v2 use the same box? If not put me for a v2. I'm upgrading soon

Yes the v1 30-1052, 30-1052U and v2 30-6053 all fit the bracket.

Will this actually let me close the kick panel cover so it doesn't stick out and rub my clutch foot? That V2 is a little larger than the stock EMS

Ok I saw the pix of the v1 where it looks like the kick panel can be gotten back to stock -- cool. Is it too late to buy one? Verify and I'll follow the instructions at the start of the thread.
