I got a style 2 seat in my s before, i was gonna put it in but the glove box will not able to open with it, the side is very very tight fit, it even rub against the door when i am closing.
so the spoon style is a tad too wide to be honest.
the padding is not much, you can feel the back molding if you are skinny. the material of the seat could use a higher quality fabric, if you wear jean all the time with wallet behind your arse, it will wear out the seat in short order.
not trying to knock on anyone but you get what you pay for.

The short on padding is to save weight. At 12 lbs each seat, there isn't too much padding that can be added. That's the trade-off. Go sit in a $1500 Spoon Kevlar seat and you'll feel the same.
The Type 1/2 (Mugen/Spoon) are wide. They're wider than the Type 3 (SPG) so Type 3 would be a better choice for our S2000s, IMO. And that's what I have in my car right now.
The best one is the Type R1s (Gias) ... but they're more expensive and heavier than the bucket seats. (Although at more than half the price of the Bride or Vision seats)

These seats are nice, seen them many times in lots of nice cars
ps: Danny Johnson and Van take care of all my body work too; i watched your shop car from start to almost the end, besides a little bit of the middle where it disappeared for a while.. looks NICE
Great guys, almost got some rails from them, but weren't in stock - but superb service even though we couldn't close the deal

What seat sits closest to stock height.. I'm 5'8" and any lower I wouldn't really be able to see over the dash..
