Hello,

I purchased the shift knob on wednesday and still have not received any notice as to whether the
package is shipped or not.

Also, shipping was 17 dollars...I assume that guarantees a rather expedited delivery.

Cheers.
Hey you should have a tracking number. Wasn't able to get it out yesterday so it was shipped out to you today.

Let me know if you didn't get the tracking number in an auto email.
Thanks.

Glad you guys are liking them!!

Yeah UPS ground can take a little while across the country. Nice to have the full tracking though..
Totally agree except UPS says:

SECAUCUS, NJ, US 08/03/2010 10:08 A.M. DEPARTURE SCAN

And no further updates. I'm not worried about it not getting here as I have had this happen before but I thought it was funny in regards to what you said.

Put the shifter in last night and it feels great. Easy to install and top notch quality.

I think that is actually normal. Since it lives there and next scan should be in CA when it arrives at the sorting facility I guess.

Finally got it today, and it feels great, but man it was a PAIN to line it up straight. I'm not sure if it will even hold under the vibration of the tranny. I guess it didn't help that I used pliers :/

Edit: I'm assuming those nuts are standard sizes? I can buy 2 more if I need to? I stripped mine a bit when tightening them (impatient)

nuts are 10x1.5 half height hex nuts.

If you need 2 more can just cover shipping and I will ship them to you for free if needed.

Maybe it was so difficult since you used pliers? Not sure really. I have adjusted the height in a few seconds when testing it out and holds VERY well.
All that has to happen is the two nuts needs to be tightened against eachother and then the lock washer locks the shift knob to them basically.

i putch lock washer between the nuts............

next time give us instructions upfront.

anyway - the knob is great.
it seats really low.
any lower would be too much.
shifts are really nice.
i'm really hapy with it.
