Dome LEDs popped my fuses also and fried my wiring with a 15A fuse.
Picked them up at Homecoming for $10. MY2000 stock bulbs working normal. Popped the OEM 7.5 fuse, popped a 10 also, decided to try a 15 and smoke started coming out. It fried my wires Might just be the 2000s with a 7.5 fuse.
Love the keyhole plugs and plate LEDs. Big thumbs down on the Dome LEDs

I just got home at 1:30 last night.
I tried installing them again to figure out why there were blown fuses. It seems that the heatsink for the LEDs could be touching the terminals causing the fuse to pop.
I have become aware of a problem with this dome light: .
This is only an issue with the dome lights that were ordered for the PreOrder and later, and LEDs bought at Homecoming 2. The heatsink for the LED can potentially cause a bridge between the two terminals holding the dome light causing a short. Please do not put a bigger fuse in an attempt to make them work.
I will be replacing all of the LEDs because of this issue. Please send me a PM with the following title: ***** Dome LEDs *****. Please include your first and last name, and your address. I will keep you updated on your replacements. I have contacted the manufacturer to get a different type of LED bulb.

You never want to put larger fuses in, when you're blowing them, unless you know what is causing it, and that the circuitry and wiring can handle them.
Fuses are there to protect the car. If you ignore the warnings (fuses blowing), the fuses do no good.

hey Joey, sorry I missed you at HC. I ordered everything for my car (including dome lights) amber sigals, white license plates, etc.
I'm not sure if it was pre-order or not, I just paid for everything. Should I be concerned? Did my LED's come in?
Thanks again
Paul
