Suit yourself, obviously, but what's the advantage of using the valve for the tranny or the differential? You still have to put the car on jackstands to fill them....
I stripped my drain plug on my tranny and could use the drain valve as a permanent with JB weld or something like it. My car is too low to fit a oil collector under anyways I have to jack it up

It would just be nice for a moron like me who's stripped the drain plug.

If you put one on the tranny then you wouldn't have to worry about stripping the bolt ever... which is what I was thinking when I mentioned that

i don't think matters.. and because it's so easy to do an oil change you can change your oil more frequently, which is better for the engine than any magnetic drain bolt could be

That would be my argument!
Jack and Tang, I get appreciate the response and I get it, my preference with the magnetic drain bolts wasnt about blowing the motor but about keeping small meatl bits out of the motor. In relation to the oil valve what would concern me is this, How would the oil drain valve hold up the the pressures of road courses or track events if one was to participate in such events, not that I do, especially if somone from American Honda is reading this...

I've done perhaps 25 track days, and hundreds and hundreds of autocross runs, with my Fumoto valve on the car, and there's never been a hint of a problem.

My car is not lowered....

Thanks guys!

Even if your car is lowered, it shouldn't make a difference, as the oil pan is not the lowest part of the car. It'd be a miracle if somehow something impacted your oil pan or oil drain valve.
