Quick question.. I get some annoying vibration noises from my shifter... Would this help it or possibly make it worse?

The ETD will reduce engine vibration especially under load, thus reducing vibrations felt through the transmission. This will reduce the shifter from rocking back and forth especially under load. It hard to say what it will do without knowing the cause of the issue. I would say that don't get it as a cure to any sounds you might be hearing, but get it for its improvement in overall shifting feel, and possible cure the noise

The ETD and it's bracket can be used with most strut bars, the one bar it will not fit for sure is the ASM/ASM style strut bar with a cross brace built in. Low hanging strut bars like spoon might need minor sanding to get the ETD bracket to clear from what I have been told. I have installed this ETD on a spoon style and it cleared fine.

You can stack a strut bar on top of the ETD, enough thread will be left over for you to properly thread down your shock tower bolt, even on after market suspension from the installs I have done and seen.
