Were you able to notice any difference in shifting at all during your trip and auto-x?

I'd say yes;

I'm not sure if helps with launches (the Autox was a rolling start).

Shifts feel more confident (does that make sense?). I really feel it in 5th and 6th.

If makes sense to me, the ETD makes shifting easier, especially for me on down shifts. When I took my ETD off, i really noticed the difference when downshifting into gears...it was a bit more notchy and didn't go in as smoothly. Just glad that you were able to thoroughly field test it and notice a difference.
