Which would you recommend for the skinnies between the B1 and B5? I'm 6'1, 165lbs. Also, are the pads removable, or glued on?

Its really about budget, the B1 is 50% more, but less than half the weight, has the universal 29mm mounting points and has thigh bolster in addition to the Unique Tillet torso bolster.

The B5 has 23mm (lotus) mounting points which will require some specific brackets not typical to Nagisa, Buddy Club, etc.

Well, I'd be ordering it for a non-S2000, and I think either one would work for me in the drivers seat, but I'm not sure which one would best fit my skinny torso...

The size is the same so fitment wont change.
If your mounts have either 23 or 29cm mounting then it is a simple matter of price vs weight.

What are the options for mounting the seats? Does the B1 fit directly to OEM rails? and how do you adapt the B5 to fit?

All the seats but the B5 have standard 29cm mounting points so you can use any S2000 aftermarket mounting system. We like Buddy Club and Nigisa Double Lock as they are all in in one.

For the B5, you will have to get the Tillett brackets & sliders and mount them on a base like mounting systems like the Sparco Base.

OEM mounts integrate with the stock seats.

I made some brackets to suit the B5 that's bolt on to my copy of the buddy club rails. Works perfectly. Super low seat position.

The sizing for the B5 and B1 are similar and fit a larg range of drivers due to the Torso Bolster design. Ive had 160 to 230 lbs all in the seats and all felt snug and comfortable to them.

Choices really depend on budget and your mounting options. B5 need some work to mount as they use Lotus 23cm width mounting points. B1s use the standard 29cm mounting points and weigh half as much.
