If I put your tower bar on a 2006 S2K will I need to cut out any of the insulation on the hood, or does it fit without modifications to the car?

Thanks,

Dave

Those pictures were taken directly from J's Racing Japan, and with the bar's design to clear aftermarket intakes, yes the left side (if you're sitting inside the car) would be a little higher
