engine seized? PLEASE HELP
If it sucked in water its the long one that goes into the bumper ootherwise you would have to have been in water 2 feet deep. Hope all works out but I have seen thisscenario before with cars in the shop and rods sticking through the oil pan, good luck
GOOD NEWS ! ! ! ! LHT DID SOME WORK AND GOT MY CAR TO RUN ! ! ! ! NO ENGINE REPLACMENT NEEDED....NO INSURANCE CLAIM...NO MORE HEADACHES LOL...im really happy with lht i think you guys are awsome and i really do appreciate the work and thank you guys for fixing the S....thanks again to jon and paul from LHT (would definitly recomend them to anyone looking for a great shop in the tampa area)...thanks J for recommending them to me...and thanks for everyone reading lol...glad to have my S back on the road...
well it did suck up water but not a lot...they pulled the plugs and sprayed wd40 down all 4 cylinders and cranked it to vent it out and replaced the plugs and it started up...no problems so far
Very nice!!
Congratulations on a near miss.
My wife drives my S as a daily now, but I told her; DO NOT DRIVE IN ST. PETE WHEN IT RAINS....PERIOD!!
As Rob said, it's just not worth a new engine.
