Financial Assistance
my bank was even gonna consoladate my car payment and all my cc together as well you might think on that, but the thing is you will be paying a higher payment for a much longer time.
I decided to keep my cc and car payment seperate...it really depends on your situation.....
problem with getting a older car is all the repairs you may need to do could pile up, unless you can fix cars yourself you might want to retink selling the s and getting a cheepie car.
thats why i bought an s instead a gen2 mr2. repairs could kill ya.

I am currently looking for other vehicles. I am pretty sure I just need to part with the S and get a little 2k car just to get me around for a couple years. Yes Joe I think I know what I need to do. Its a sad sad reality check! I will have to get rid of one of the best cars out there imo. I do appreciate the help joe!
Remeber there are other great cars out there...lotus exige...lambos...panos....or if you have a great job you cold find an rebuild a classic...its not the end of the world....but you can still find good fun cheepie cars...look into a gen1 MR2 or a MGB.....or a 83 supra/celica..or a 89 honda prelude..its just a matter of sort of getting what you want..but on a budget.....there are fun cars around but just think out of the box....you could always get that great job and buy a S2000 CR!
Hi kelz12, I know how you feel man. I bought an S, fell in love with it, and lost my job the NEXT DAY to layoffs!
I highly highly highly reccomend Dave Ramsey's philosophy to you. (As I see has already been mentioned.)
Fortunately, I landed a job yesterday after a 4.5 month long search! Using Dave's rigid budgeting and my savings - I have floated just fine until now.
In no way does it make sense to either a. sell an upside-down car or b. swap a car for the same but older model.
Use the S as your daily driver, sell any other vehicles you don't need, and get a good job in Miami. =]
I also agree Miami is not more expensive than Tampa - that's only if you're buying property. It's all about lifestyle choices.
Best of luck!

Playing devils advocate.. he doesn't have to pay tuition so a BA at his school is a few S's last time I checked...

Maybe you should PM speedworksracing and see what he can do for you. I believe he has some rides. Who knows, maybe you can get a beater and payoff the CCs.
Good thing you didn't put in the KW SC.
Indy is right, put first things first. You'll have more fun later.
