Default Head light, vinal top products

I need to clean and protect my vinal top..its getting a little driedout and i want to protect it a little better...
I cant find a place that sells 303 but what about Meguiar's rubber and vinyl natural shine spray protectant ? Also is this ok to use on my rubber trim that seals the windows and vinal top.

My headlights are looking reallyrough...some scratching and oxydation.
since i dont have a buffer or a electric drill so i was thinking about this....Turtle Wax / Headlight lens restorer kit....any comments?

I never found the 303 around here either....not that I busted my balls looking for it. I have used Vinylex since 2005 on my top. Works great, makes the top look awesome. Pep Boys carries that stuff.

Can't comment on the h/l stuff sorry.

plexus and elbow grease for the headlights to start. you may have to buff the lights to get the hazing off

I would not use he rubber and vinyl restorer on the fabric top. IMHO those products are for "formed" surfaces like bumpers and trim parts to keep them supple...I dont know what it would do to the top fabric. it probably has a petroleum based residue to keep the formed parts looking and feeling fresh (think tire shine) and those residues would probably compromise the fabric in some way. it would probably trap more dirt and crap in the fabric and may even react to the fabric itself and weaken the fibers..

find 303...I had both 303 products shipped to me from autopia or someplace like that. there is a marine supply warehouse somewhere around here that carries it and other "boating" stores around town should have it

I agree with Rob, find 303 it is all I use and it works!!

I ordered mine but you may want to try some of the larger Motorcycle shops as well, They have a great selection of detail products.

Try the Meguiars Head Kight resptoration kit you can find it at most automotive stores. You will need a drill and some painters tape to mask off the body area around the lights but it is much easier and faster and I use the cleaner & polish on my plastic rear window to keep it looking great.

Don't use the turtle wax headlight restorer... I tried it per the exact directions and to no avail!! It plain out sucked.. I wasted about 2 hours for absolutely no improvement at all... Your better off spraying water on it because that's pretty much all it did for me!

Our tops are made of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC). The Vinylex brought to you by the same folks that make Lexol for our leather. The Raggtopp protectant I'm pretty sure is for Vinyl materials and therefore, is ideal for our tops.

So far as I know all 3 of these are GREAT for your top....303, Raggtopp, Vinylex.

Here's a handy link with some information:
