Thank you everyone. My graduation was on May 15th. Right now I'm in Wichita Falls at Sheppard AFB for tech school training. My job is F-16 Crew Chief. I won't start school until June 4th and my b-day is on June 2nd. I rarely get on here I know, its just that I've been too busy trying to get situated. Also I sold the S before I left for basic and not going to get a car for a while. The only time I will even think about getting a car is when I find out if I'm going to be stationed overseas or not which I won't find out until this Friday. Anyways, figured I'd stop by and say hi.

Get the Air Force to pay for your higher education. Don't get lazy there are not many job opening for Jet mechanics on the outside. You will get more job offers by having a degree or even an advance degree.
Either that or you could be flying the F-16 instead of working on it.

Holy shit, I leave for a couple months and Ishbu joins the AF? Congrats brother, and good luck in tech school!!!
On an important note, like Jeff and Chip said, be sure to use the AF tuition assistance to your advantage. Get your CCAF, then your BS/BA, then work on your Masters if you have time. I've been in over 14 years now and the one single regret I have is that I didn't take advantage of the TA until recently, now I'm working my ass off to get my degree. Don't be like me....be smart and get your education sooner rather than later. Even if you'd rather work on planes than fly them, the pay is so much better for an officer.
All that shit aside, good luck bro!!!
