A special Thursday meet to help a great cause!
When: Thursday August 26th, 2010 @ 7:30PM to
Where: Beef O' Brady's 16773 Fishawk Blvd. Lithia, Florida 33547 Ph; 813-651-0388
Why:
As some of you may know my son Ryan (who graduated from Stetson in May) has decided to perform a mission project with our Churches World Mission group.
Ryan will be teaching english as a second language in the Lutheran Church in Hong Kong for 1 year beginning sometime in September. In chosing to do this as a Mission Project he must raise the funds to support his trip which is approx. $25K

In a effort to raise the funds necessary for the Mission he has been busy with a recent concert and many other fund raising events,
One of those events is being held at Beef O Bradys in Lithia where the owner has been gracious enough donate 10% of purchases on Thursday August 26th from 4PM to 11PM to the LCMS World Mission for the benefit of Ryan's Mission to Hong Kong.
Your donation is made when you order your meal by letting the wait staff know you are there to support Ryan.

Just some food for thought. But what if you set up a Paypal account for people to donate to? I have school starting that week so it's to hectic for a long drive like that for me. The Beef's idea is great too, but if everyone just donated a few $$$ it would probably get you off to a better start.

I know times are tuff for everyone right now which is why I thought the Beef O' Brady forum would make for a great meet & take advantage of the genorisity of Beef's at the same time.
