New S2000 owner - Tampa/St Pete
Hi guys - just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I just picked up an S2000 on Friday and am really excited about learning the car and enjoying it!
Some of you may have seen me around - my other toy is a Azure Blue Mustang Mach 1. Do a lot of stuff with S&R Performance - if you've ever done a poker run with them - I planned the route.
Anyways - back to the new S! It's a 2008 Chicane Silver Metallic. One owner car with 28,000 miles. I don't plan on modding it too much as this is going to be my daily driver but I do plan on auto crossing it a little to learn its limits. Plus the Mach could use a break
Anyways - hope to meet up with some of you guys soon! Already trying to get the wife warmed up to the dragon trip you all are planning - always wanted to do that!

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Just drove the car home from Sarasota...what a blast! I can't wait to learn this car and put it to it's limits at some autoX events!
Yup - after I drove Ron's S2k when he was selling it, I fell in love. I needed a DD that got better than the 13mpg my Wrangler pulls - so I thought a small convertible would be a lot of fun for that. I test drove a bunch of cars - Miata Club (new 2013 model that's pretty sweet but couldn't justify 30k for a Miata...), a few different S2000's of different years/conditions, 350z (boring...), and a Saturn Sky Red Line. Out of all of them - the S2000 was always the most fun to drive.
Anyways - hope to meet some of you soon!

Welcome,
I'm a new S2000 owner myself (2007 silverstone metallic w/28K). Having it for only 2 months now, and really enjoy the top-down weather we been having.
I myself haven't been able to attend any of the local functions yet, but planning too, if and when my calendar allows it.
See you around.
