I have a question about decal placement on the doors and hood.

Are there any measurements that you guys use for the door decal placement ? I have looked at past year pics and can't really tell what to use as a guide. door handle or edge of the door to the edge of the paper, also bottom of the door to the bottom of the decal.

I am thinking of placing the hood decal paper at the washers.

doors: parallel to the top body line in the door itself. 1 inch under the door handle. this lines up the paper directly under the middle of the mirror.

hood: put your windshield banner under the washer nozzles. center the hood logo up against that.

trunk: 1 inch under the trunk lid top

bumper small logos - center over exhausts, mid bumper.

black letters under honda logos - center them up against badge.

This is what Scott & I used as benchmarks/measurements for our cars last Saturday. We want to be as consistant as possible/ SOme cars with after market parts might require an adjustment to this but this should be the "template"

Thanks for posting Scott!

The top body line is not level. You don't align the decal so that it is level??

That looks off to me but i will go with what the rest of you do. I don't want to look different than the other cars.

Correct. We've done it both ways in years past. It was decided to go with the body line. I'll grab a photo.

here's two from last year. You'll see it isn't even with the ground, but flows with the car better:

Ok I am going with even with the body line.

I thought the driver side looked good with the decal level but the passenger side looked like it was going uphill.
Probably an illusion because of the palm tree.
