Wink SPGP 2011 RV thread

Calling out to the community to see if anyone has an RV or knows of a friend/relative that has one willing to work a deal on the cheap side.

here is what we need:

Decent sized RV with:
--working/reliable on-board generator
--working AC
--working interior electrical outlets (standard 110)
--external outlet(s) - optional
--working refrigerator and appliances - wanted but optional
--working septic (on site disposal post-event can be arranged)
--delivery on Thursday March 24th mid morning to race site with full tank of gas
--evacuation on Sunday march 27th after race event and clean up (around 5-6pm)

here is what the provider will receive:
--a pair of event tickets and paddock passes for all three days
--1 vip parking pass for RV area parking (to get right to the RV during the event)
--access to all food and drink options at the site during the entire event
--RV promised to be cleaner than found...
--cash to fill gas tank after the event
--$200.00 cash

we are trying very hard to avoid having to rent an RV at retail costs. Doing so will drastically raise the amount of cash needed to run the event.

participation this year will run like last year, with participants paying for the parade/decal spots to help cover costs of providing the RV spot.

Like always this event is for you guys, we have had a serious shake up this year with much of the SPGP staff shifting and turning over. We hope to provide you with the same great event we have become accustomed to. Expect more news ASAP.

We need to find a RV solution quickly

thanks for reading. PM me with any info....

I was thinking of just going over to Lazy Days and taking one for a test drive, For The Weekend!

He was also the second person ever to wreck an Enzo. From what I understand, he bought it from The Pope.

I can't see the topic on there, I see a golf club, a bone, tennis racket, toothbrush, a sign with "Based on characters created by Martin Handford", suitcase, lots of flags, of course Waldo, starfish maybe, I don't see anything about an RV Topic on there...

Best deals I found were around $200 a day for RV's that would fit your needs:

Hope this helps a little...

At $200 per day thats not bad (IMO). If you spread this out over the Parade lappers and the decal cars (not evenly, weight it mor on the parade lappers) it wouldn't be that bad.

Making a few calls myself.

Rob,

Just to clarify can this be a tow behind travel trailer or does it have to be an RV??

Is there a minimum size?

Just tryin gto further define what we are looking for and what is allowed by the SPGP.

Thx
