Well perhaps this old thread still has something to teach us. It seems that this forum is slowly dying -- we recently went a whole day without a post. Almost nobody came to C&C this month. And it's hard to imagine getting 15-20 people for any meet now.

Not sure what happened, but it needn't be permanent! We can revitalize our "scene." Let's do it! I'm happy to help...

 

I would have to say we are actually one of the more active regions compared to the rest of the country. At least on s2ki anyways. I've met alot of s2k guys in the area that aren't active on here.

 

I am still on S2ki every day (Car Talk) and never check here - it was funny to see this pop up. I AM still in Tampa, but I haven't had my S2k in a couple years. Matt's Bride's still live on in my Datsun however!

Anyway, I miss it and the S2000 community. I went to a few events, C&C, the causeway meet, SPGP... always fun. The problem is there aren't SHIT for good driving roads. Florida is flat and boring. I may be moving back to TX so I would definitely pick up another there where I can really wind it out in the hill country.

I was at a Autocross a few months back in St Pete - I was in the Dastun but I ran afternoon and it seemed like all the S2k guys were in the AM. I talked to a couple owners, and the guy who posted wicked fast times in the afternoon in his Suzuka (GT challenge guy).... But no one remembered me as it's been a few years since I've been in the scene. It would be fun to catch up again at C&C or Reeves.
