Top Replacement
As promised, I talked with Gerlanda (service advisor) at Autoway Honda in Clearwater. Gerlanda is familiar with this problem as of last year with my S and is now aware of the TSB. My S goes into the shop tomorrow for a day, day and a half... During our conversation Gerlanda said if there are other S's that fit the requirements of the TSB (3 year / 36k miles) to give him a call; so here is his number 727.412.7824. It seems just that simple and if not I am sure Gerlanda would have said so...

Step one complete, I talked with Amanda at Honda and here is thier stance, If there is a hole then they will replace the top. If you have a hole/tear/wear mark and placed a protective patch on it then they will NOT replace the top. The "LACK or" Power of Dreams.

That really pisses me off. Because you took steps to solve the problem you have phucked yourself and they wont fix it. Not that it would matter for me because I have an 03 but still. They guys that try to do for themselves get shit on and the people that want everyone else to solve their problems get helped.
