The weather has been beautiful lately and before it gets too hot I'd like to do a track day at the FIRM. I know a few of us have bought roll bars as well. I was thinking maybe some time in May. If you guys are interested please chime in.

Two things...they raised the price and I don't think they have open track days all the time. Looks like one or two per year.

 

So you guys went & got roll bars for that track and now you can't even use them? That sucks!

It sucks about the FIRM, You think there's enough S2000s wanting to use the track to make up the price of their change insurance policy change. If we could rent the track maybe it's a possiblity for them to have a different insurance policy for certain days.

 

Oh well for $250 per day it's more expensive than an NASA event at Sebring and a farther drive. I guess I will just stick with them since the FIRM is becoming more and more difficult to track at.

NASA offers $150 off for first time members. The total cost for me to do Sebring last month was $330 and that was for a 2-day event including instructor. This is by far a much better deal than just one day event at the FIRM. The next event is June 21-22.
