This isn't intended to take aim at Mack or the great job he used to do, but this forum has been without leadership for the past year or so. The CO's of your surrounding areas (Music City, Alabama, and Atlanta) were hoping someone would step up and take the lead for the Smoky Mountain area. You have a few big cities to get membership from, and one of the best, if not the best road, in the world. I have personally spoke with a couple of you about doing the job, but no one was ready to take the job. So I figured I would come to the source and ask about a new leader. I see coquinn, Volguy, kaolinte, Jaime6 (He had to refuse for now, but offered to help the new CO), ccarnel (Thought he wanted it). Looking at all the people who want to be part of this group is awesome, but the fact no one does anything to make it better kills me. Then you can start assigning badges to your members, and making people want to be part of the Smoky Mountain group. Please, someone step up. The other CO's will help you with anything you need. Make your area the best it can be!!

What is involved with being a CO? I would not mind, but I want to know what I am getting into before I sign up.
