yeah, it's definitely to be expected, but that's why we try and figure out what to expect beforehand so we know what to do to account for anything going wrong or to totally avoid it altogether.

but as far as putting the banner in my sig, any suggestions (aka, I have no idea how to do it )

Chris, I absolutely LOVE your idea about making a route to drive and going to different peoples houses. We really have to get the ball rolling on this and get people who want to donate so we know where to drive. I REALLY like this idea, a lot.

Awesome idea guys. This has the potential to really be something.

Side Note: Are you planning on having say rally points in case people get lost or held in in traffic? We could also use rally points for people who live out of our loop to make donations.

Also, Chris, I really think you should come to Chili's on Saturday night. We could use your input since you seem to have a lot of good thoughts about all of this.

I think it would be nice to have a drop off set up at some of the food city's (or other grocery stores). Get them evolved. It would be easy to drive by and pick them up. Would be a more solid route. Also maybe get it on the radio or something not sure if that would be possible but it would help.

I already have a date with the Wife. We are trying to knock out our Christmas shopping all day Saturday. We typically end that with Dinner and a Movie. Ill ask her if she wants to make it at Chilli's with you guy's, but typically we dont schedule dinner. We simply go when hungry after shopping.

justin i think this is a good idea...but something to put in place for maybe the second annual event. The prep and permission to allow us to use grocery stores is proving pretty difficult (its something SH and I are talking about)

Everyone else.....these are all excellent ideas....keep the input coming

Hey everyone, I would def be down to come as I am in Nashville. My S2000 is currently being built for next years race season so it will be the first time I get to take out my 05 M3 CS . I am pretty good with the roads up there. The highlands is a place you def want to go to. Its a nice trip through Franklin,NC down to highlands, Bridalfalls and suchl. So if anyone needs any help planning or making it happen let me know.

Fair warning to anyone here with a plastic back window: As you should already know, if its below 50 degrees there is a possibility that it will crack. This happened to mine a few weeks ago, but it was in pretty crappy shape to begin with so if yours is in good shape it may not be a problem. My wife was out in the S and decided even though it was 49 that she wanted the top down. Fortunately I was planning on replacing it anyway. So I now have a Robbins glass windowed top.
