Eskimo Run! Jan 12th
Would it help if you let the car run for 10-15 minutes with the heater blasting before you put it down? I remember I could get the interior nice and toasty in my car. Of course, then you need to figure out how to get it back up....

If you guys want I can mention it my friend w/ a M Roadster, i'm sure he'd like to join us and maybe get some more convertibles out w/ their top down in winter.
That may work but Im not sure. Im under the impression that its just putting it down that causes problems, where it has to bend. Putting it back up may not do anything. But I really dont know.
shit......justin just pointed out that im a dumb ass and did look at the 2008 calender but instead at the 07. We need to change the banner to read Jan 12. The 13th is sunday.
Good catch justin!

Last night at Chili's, Kyle and I agreed that Chris' idea of parading to each house to collect donations would be a good idea, however we also foresee it being a logistical nightmare and not a terribly fun "drive" per se. With that being said, we think a better alternative is to have everyone collect the donations individually and then we will all meet up at the base of Foothills Parkway and drive through there and surrounding roads with the cans in our trunk (cue music "all that junk, all that junk inside your trunk"
. This will give us all a chance to see who was the best "Can Collector" for this year so we can have some bragging rights. Whether you got all those donated or you went out and dropped 30.00 just on canned foods, it wont matter as this is all going to people who need it way worse than any of us.
After that, we'll drop off all the cans at Second Harvest and then do dinner somewhere afterwards.
How does this sound to everyone? Next year we'll have room for improvements/more involved drives. The thing thats tough about this year is that since it is our first year, and we really dont have that much time to plan it all out as we would like. So we're (most likely) going to adhere to the K.I.S.S. method, and to keep it stupid simple (<---see the acronym there?)
So yea, thats the plan for Jan.
Thoughts?
Matt
