Either that or HKS for me. Although the HKS scares me since its not all stainless steel.

its because they are awefully loud. It turns a lot of people off from them.
Well you know ... if it's too loud... um your too old ... I loved mine and would not have changed it for anything ... even drove to New York a couple of times with it, maybe the years of loud metal music has desensitized my hearing ...

it does.....its not much but there is a difference on the dyno maybe not the butt dyno though.

There have been so many fights about this in some of the other more specific forums but it has to do with the dual exhaust. If you want to maintain HP and have a dual tip the stock unit is acctually pretty good. (There are some that do make power aka mugen, fugi, J's ect) If you are just looking for a HP gain and dont care about the dual look a single is the way to go.

Spoon does not make power either for the 2.0L AP1 engines - see my dyno charts:

Baseline:

Baseline vs. Spoon modifications:

The only advantages that I saw were the decrease in weight, plus the N1 sounds really good in VTEC, but not worth the money and significant loss in mid-range. It actually make the VTEC transistion feel a lot smoother, making your butt-dyno think you're making a lot more power.
