in the market for an s2k
I'm looking for a used s2000 around the nashville area. I've been looking at carmax's website and found some decent prices such as an '03 $24,500 5k miles, '03 $23,000 14k miles. S2ki's marketplace is lacking on cars around this area. Does anyone have recommendations to a dealer I should look into? Thanks.

Keep looking here in the for sale threads. You can find used ones around Nashville if you look hard but personally I would drive a long way to buy one from a fellow s2Ki member.

Buy from a fellow member, you can always ask the others that are in his area about how the car was kept.......buying from a lot or an individual you don't know what you are getting (that's really with any car I guess
) And on top of that people from out of state or a few hours away have asked people here in the Nashville Community to go test drive and inspect a car for them before they made the drive themselves.

I found a nice silver 02 with very low mileage, honda certified for 21,500. I'm in the process of finding out what financing is going to be. The only thing is that it was registered as a lease vehicle, but it does have only around 9k miles. I haven't seen the car yet, it's back around my old hometown 500 miles away. The pics look good, hope everything works out so I can finally have an s2k. Thoughts?

Thats low miles... but I still wouldn't pay that much for it. 04's are getting down in that price range with decently low miles now. Sounds like a good car just try to get them to come down on the price.

I've contacted the Montgomery dealer while talking to the chicago dealer. The Montgomery dealer will not budge on pricing. I found a better deal than both of them, monday is the day.... hope everything works out. Thanks for the responses.
