Default O2 Sensor?

I installed a test pipe two days ago and when i was driving home last night my check engine light came on... i think it has to do w/ the O2 sensor in the test pipe maybe getting too hot or somethin!! Anyone have any ideas?

yea you pretty much have to run a fake 02 sensor and have this lil box that tells the ecu that the sensor is ok. PM slows2k about what you need to do.

The least expensive option is to pull the o2 sensor out from the test pipe. People have been using two spark plug defoulers to do this. Drill one out attach it to your testpipe then piggy back the second one onto it and place your o2 sensor inside. This thins the emissions enough to not trigger the CEL.

There are a number of write ups with pictures in Under the Hood.
